Hello Xandeum community!

We have worked a long time on presenting these new tokenomics to you and would love some feedback on them. So let’s hear it!

XAND Tokenomics

I’ve just had a quick read through the tokenomics and first impressions are good. Lots of questions are springing to mind which I’m sure will get answered in Bernie’s videos or by discussions on the Forum here or on Discord. My main question at the moment is "Can I use my XAND for the liquid staking or will I need to invest SOL? And if I need to invest SOL, can I swop some XAND for SOL on a Solana DEX such as Jupiter? And roughly how many XAND will equal one SOL?

Hey guys,
After my first quick read, I have the following question.

You write: Our first investors, supporters and believers will get the opportunity to convert their XANDC tokens into XAND 1:1. These tokens will vest linearly over 9 months.

→ So we have the option to do it, but what will happen to the XANDC if we do not do it, they are worthless then, right? So there is no reason not to upgrade.

-Will my nodes earn XAND after XAND is alive?
-What about unclaimed XANDC → I have to claim them all and then upgrade, right?

I have following suggestion:
When I upgrade my XANDC to XAND, I have a vesting period of 9 months (which is a lot, because in the old system I imidiatly have my tokens available) → can you make a combination of a shorter vesting period and a XAND staking (combined with a lockup period)?
So that we can also stake the XAND like JUP (ASR) does it and also earn rewards for participating in DAOS.

Sorry if I missed something or got it wrong.

Hi! I was listening to the AMA on X today and I believe it was said that 10% of the XAND of the node owners will be made available right away and the rest 90% will be vested for 9 months, is that correct?

I guess we will only know the ratio of XAND:SOL after the token is listed at the end of October.

Sorry if these were stated somewhere already, but the points I am not clear on are:

  1. Will the nodes purchased continue emissions for the original 10 year term and if so, will the emissions be XAND or XANDC that we must continue to convert?
  2. Does XANDC have any utility or purpose of it’s own?

Regardless of the points I am unsure of, the tokenomics look like a good deal for us, especially the early node holders.
This isn’t a meme coin riding on hype. So the token value is more likely than not to pump with onboarding of pNodes and again with any proof of concept project launch like xandepedia ( or literally anything with an A.I. or DePIN tag…). Holding our tokens more than 9 months will probably pay off for us.
The incentives for using the staking pool make sense too, because the SOL in that pool becomes a big part of the bribe to bring existing validators on board and drive ecosystem adoption.

I’m looking forward to seeing what can be built with an onchain storage layer, and I am glad the business plan looks thoughtful and viable.

Hi Xandeum Massive!
What I would find useful @Bernie is a infographic explaining the entire process from today. Including all the dates when we need to take action, incorporating all the questions that this group have asked, relevant YouTube comments, X and Discord. So we get a very clear step by step process so we can prepare and get the best ROI for our Xand, XandC, Xand Points, Vnodes and P nodes. The Xandeum team are doing awesome by the way and I am so excited to beon board as an early investor and supporter.

It seems to me that tokenomics has been studied and thought about for a long time in recent months - congratulation for this!.
It drew my attention that approximately 30% (3 x 10%) is allocated for marketing purposes and only 8.5% + 8.5% for rewarding holders and those who provide liquidity. Probably the 30% of Marketing also includes attracting and encouraging application developers who will generate data that will have to be stored in the future. Xandeum need them!

Thanks for contributing! Yes the liquid staking will only be for SOL, and you will get xandSOL (Xandeum-staked SOL) in return. And yes, you will be able to swap XAND for SOL and vice versa. The price will just depend on the listing price of XAND. You can estimate the token price by checking other project’s market caps and dividing by the initial circulating supply. We currently expect the latter to be in the 500 to 600 million tokens range.

I agree staking of XAND is highly desirable, however not trivial to implement. I very much anticipate there being a DAO proposal about XAND staking after the launch, which gives us some time to implement.
The rest of your question is about the Xandeum Classic solution, which is off-topic for this forum. We have a special section for the XANDC upgrade in our Discord server.

I don’t think that statement was made.

However, we are thinking of even making 50% available immediately and the other 50% vesting over 12 months, identical to the airdrop recipients.

Will post here separately and ask for feedback.

Please keep in mind that having these tokens available immediately comes with great responsibility: All selling that the same time will tank the price. Buyers on the other end (market makers, bulls/whales, or me) will be happy, but the community as whole may not.

Hello Iain! Been a hell of journey so far, right?

We will need a lot of marketing to find people to (1) buy the token (2) stake with us (3) build dapps on Xandeum. Sitting here, doing great technical work, and waiting won’t drive these people to us. And they won’t come by themselves if they don’t even know about us. Attracting new team members is in the “acquihires” category as well as some part of the Team allocation will be withheld for future hires.

Does this graphic do some good for you?

We talked about some labels that need clarified that will get worked on soon.

Do whatever you think is best for the ecosystem and for the token price. However it would be fair for the early investors, who has been with you from day on to get a chence to cash a bit out and at least ROI. Thanks!

Thank you, all questions for XANDC have already been answered by Bernie in the last AMA.
XAND staking should be in the DAO proposal!

Thank you – it is as I imagined. It makes sense to focus on marketing because, if no one knows about you, it is impossible to develop and expand the project. Let’s rock!
